“I think the word got out about this decadent event and many more people wanted to come and experience a fun and competitive evening this year,” said Lisa Mueller, Main Street manager for the Urban Renewal Agency office.  “I commend the people brave enough to endure the entry requirements.  It is not an easy task to prepare a chocolate show piece for the judges plus one-hundred samplings for the general public to taste.  It is much harder than you think.”  Kandi Pendleton added, “Our judges were very impressed with the entries.  This year, some category judges had to call in an extra judge to help avoid a tie.”
